Job summary

Autonomous Production in San Rafael, CA, is building a factory OS with agentic robotics to lower carbon emissions and boost local economies. You’ll own core services in the production orchestration stack, including fleet coordination, scheduling, telemetry ingestion, and the control plane, deploying and scaling agents in production.

This full-time in-office role offers a rapid-iteration, early-stage environment where you’ll make decisive architectural choices and ship high-impact production code

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms applied within a live, production-scale environment.
• Experience deploying long-horizon agents within a distributed system using modern orchestration frameworks.
• Daily fluency with multi-agent AI software engineering toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale long-horizon production agents designed to navigate real-world failure modes gracefully.
• Take end-to-end ownership of a core system that our live factory environment depends on.
• Ship high-impact production code iteratively and safely into a live physical environment.
• Take decisive ownership of critical architectural decisions, including event topology, multi-agent coordination patterns, and telemetry schemas.
