Job summary

Etched is seeking a senior role to architect and operate agentic AI systems that drive S&OP, material planning, and production execution. You will work with Platform, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance to transform decisions into automated workflows and scalable actions.

You will embed with manufacturing partners and internal teams to build models linking demand, BOMs, inventory, and capacity, while designing agents that adapt to constraints and changes.

Qualifications

• Strong track record solving hard problems across stacks and domains
• Comfort with Python and code
• Fluency using AI to learn on new problems
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based agents or AI tooling
• Eval-driven mindset to measure AI system effectiveness
• High agency and comfort with ambiguity
• Experience in complex hardware, manufacturing, or supply chain environments

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate AI systems that run S&OP, material planning, build readiness, manufacturing partner execution, quality, logistics, and customer deployments
• Embed with cross-functional teams to identify high-leverage decisions and turn them into executable workflows augmented by agentic systems
• Create operational models linking demand, configurations, revisions, BOMs, supply, inventory, cost, capacity, builds, tests, quality, and shipments
• Develop agents that craft executable plans considering demand, supply, capacity, inventory, capital, schedules, and risk
• Propagate design changes through material exposure, sourcing, cost, factory and test readiness, production schedules, and delivery commitments
• Build production and quality agents that coordinate clear-to-build, work in progress, bottlenecks, testing, excursions, genealogy, containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective action
• Design historical replays and live evals tied to operating outcomes like forecast quality and throughput
• Continuously evaluate frontier models and system optimization methods
