  • Confer with supervisors to assess progress and discuss schedule changes.
  • Revise production schedules due to changes, shortages, or interruptions.
  • Record production data including volume and materials used.
  • Distribute production schedules or work orders for processing.
  • Compile information for status reports across departments.
  • Update daily all weekly performance metrics.
  • Collect and assemble all production reports for all departments.
  • Keep records on SharePoint and issue equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Objective: The Production Administrator will expedite the workflow and materials within and between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Keep accurate and up to date employee attendance records, coordinate with HR and support supervisors by preparing disciplinary forms.
  • Organize and keep production office efficient.
  • Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
  • Confer with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed schedule changes.
  • Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.
  • Distribute production schedules or work orders for processing.
  • Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
  • Update daily all weekly performance metrics.
  • Collect and assemble all production reports for all departments.
  • Assist with updating Redzone.
  • Keep accurate and up to date records on SharePoint.
  • Issue equipment and supplies to employees as need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (education may be substituted by experience)
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic math skills
