Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in production accounting, reporting, operations support, or data analysis in oil and gas.
  • Experience validating, analyzing, and explaining production variances.
  • Proficiency with Excel, pivot tables, and data review techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze daily oil, gas, and water production volumes for reporting.
  • Identify and communicate daily variances and root causes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain data accuracy by monitoring quality and feeding systems timely.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and month-end production reports with Asset and Finance teams.
  • Coordinate close activities with Permian Finance and PRA teams.
  • Build and enhance production dashboards in Spotfire/Power BI for visibility.

The majority of our acreage is unconventional. Based on 2025 production volumes, the Lower 48 is our largest segment and contributed 67 percent of our consolidated liquids production and 74 percent of our consolidated natural gas production.In 2025, net production averaged 1,484 MBOED.Position OverviewThe Production Accounting Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable production data that supports operational decision‑making, financial reporting, and business performance. This position partners closely with Operations, Asset teams, and Finance to analyze daily production volumes, investigate variances, and maintain high data quality across multiple reporting systems.In this role, you will translate field production activity into clear, actionable insights used by leadership and business partners. You will contribute to month‑end close activities, support regulatory and internal reporting needs, and help improve reporting tools and workflows.
