Job summary

Quebec Linge Co. seeks a team member for the 2nd shift in its industrial laundry facility. You will perform mat rolling, stacking, quality checks, and cart movements while following safety practices and working as part of a team.

High school degree preferred; overtime may be required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, pension, and paid time off. Compensation is hourly and based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate mat rolling by machine or by hand and stack mats.
• Stage mat cages near table or lift table as needed.
• Roll mats with rubber side up or use foot pedal on machine.
• Quality check: identify stains, gum stains, rips, holes, or damp mats.
• Verify mat by size, color, and type; place on correct shelves.
• Move full and empty carts; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

2nd Shift Hours: M-F 10am-6:30pm

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited performing a mat rolling by machine, by hand on inverted table, or stacking on pallet.
• Stages cage of mats near table or into lift table if using mat rolling machine.
• Places mat rubber side up to manually roll mat, or steps on foot pedal to roll using machine.
• Monitors for quality while rolling and identifies and segregates mats that do not meet quality requirements in terms of stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, or if wet.
• Accurately verifies mat by size, color, and type, and places mats on correct storage shelves.
• Maneuvers full and empty carts.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Environment / Safety Requirements

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold conditions as well as dust and noise.

• Position involves repetitive motions over the duration of an entire shift.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18.25, depending on circumstances, including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
