Job summary

Steak n Shake is seeking a Fountain Operator to prepare fountain beverages and related products to order. The role involves fast-paced prep, maintaining equipment temperatures and keeping the fountain area clean and stocked.

Candidates should be able to work as part of a team, follow safety guidelines, and adapt to other tasks as needed during shifts. EVerify is used for employment eligibility in the U.S.

Job description

General Purpose:

The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products.

Essential (primary) Functions:

The primary responsibility of the fountain operator is to prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes in accordance with Steak n Shake specs utilizing the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. Monitoring equipment temperatures. Restocking, cleaning/sanitizing the fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards at all times.
