Job summary

Capano Management Company is seeking a Fountain team member to prepare desserts and milk shakes, follow recipes, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will communicate with staff, stock your station, and maintain high presentation standards while upholding health guidelines and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver desserts and milk shakes per customer specifications.
• Check refrigeration temperatures to ensure Board of Health compliance.
• Stock station with appropriate food items and tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including utensils and equipment.
• Follow recipes and plating procedures to ensure presentation quality.
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer satisfaction.
• Mop and clean the ice cream area at shift end.
• Store ice cream products safely as directed by health guidelines.
• Communicate with staff about items that are 86’d or on a countdown.

Job description

Summary: The Fountain is responsible for the Dessert, Ice Cream and Milk Shake ingredients, processing customer orders, producing desserts and cleaning their workspace throughout the day to follow health and safety guidelines. Fountains follow recipes consistently, make adjustments based on customer requests and communicate with wait staff.

Fountains are responsible for delivering Desserts and Milk Shakes that are not only delicious and prepared to the specifications of the customer but that is safe and fresh as well. They have the following responsibilities:

• Smile (We have open kitchens)
• Arrive on time dressed and ready for your shift.
• Check refrigeration temperature are Board of Health Compliant
• Stock your station with the appropriate food items and tools
• At the end of your shift make sure your station is stocked and ready for the next shift.
• Wipes down and cleans refrigeration, counters, tables and underneath equipment
• Follow recipes and plating procedures
• Prepare desserts with presentation and quality of food items as top priority
• Prepare food in an efficient and timely manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
• Mop and clean the Ice Cream area at the end of of the night
• Store Ice Cream products in a safe manner as dictated by the board of health
• Wipe down and Clean Freezers
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Do daily and weekly side work
• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh and appealing
• Work as a team to provide the best level of customer satisfaction possible
• Communicate with staff and management regarding all food that is 86’d or on a countdown.
