Job summary

Steak 'n Shake Boardman is seeking a fountain operator to prepare fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes, using the restaurant’s equipment and following company specs.

The role requires monitoring temperatures, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the fountain area, while upholding uniform and corporate standards. Other duties as assigned may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes per Steak n Shake specs using multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and dippers.
• Monitor equipment temperatures.
• Restock, clean and sanitize fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards.
• Secondary: Any and all other tasks assigned.

Job description

General Purpose:

The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products.

Essential (primary) Functions:

The primary responsibility of the fountain operator is to prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes in accordance with Steak n Shake specs utilizing the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. Monitoring equipment temperatures. Restocking, cleaning/sanitizing the fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards at all times.
