Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Product Verification Engineer (Software/Hardware Testing) to ensure quality, reliability and safety of next-generation radiotherapy treatment systems.

You will develop automated and manual tests, collaborate with global teams, and support verification activities with travel as needed. The role offers hybrid work in Palo Alto.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 3+ years
• Strong Python programming and .NET experience
• Solid Object-Oriented Programming knowledge
• Experience with software testing methodologies and automation
• Understanding of SDLC and defect tracking tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Medical device testing experience preferred
• Azure DevOps/TFS experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated and manual test plans and test cases
• Perform UI automation testing using Python-based frameworks
• Install and configure hardware and software test environments
• Analyze results, identify defects, and support issue resolution
• Review requirements and specifications to ensure quality and testability
• Collaborate with global development and verification teams
• Support verification and validation activities, including occasional travel

What You Will Do
