Responsibilities

  • Design & Prototyping: Translate research insights into wireframes, task flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Help maintain and contribute to USAC’s design system. Maintain design and interaction consistency across products.
  • Iterative Testing: Lead usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and refine them based on direct user feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure design solutions align with business objectives, technical constraints, USAC’s design system, and UX best practices.
  • Presentation & Advocacy: Present design work and rationales to stakeholders, advocating for user-centered solutions.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
About You

The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of our IT team and have:

  • Minimum of Three (3) years of professional directly related experience.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of information architecture, usability principles, and responsive design; basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Prototyping : Ability to create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to test complex logic and edge cases.
  • Process: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Human-Centered Design principles.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask and problem-solve, and ability to self-motivate and work with little supervision to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively.
