Job summary

Clearwater Analytics, LLC is seeking a Product UX Design Intern to join our User Experience team in New York. You will help design intuitive product experiences for enterprise clients, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers on real features used by clients.

You will develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups while supporting user research and maintaining our design system. A strong portfolio and experience with Figma are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

Portfolio demonstrating problem framing and user needs
Solid interaction design and information architecture
Experience showing AI-assisted UX concepts is a plus
Ability to present design rationale clearly

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to understand goals and requirements.
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for features.
Support user research activities and synthesize findings.
Maintain design system components and documentation for consistency.
Produce interaction specs and handoff docs for engineers.
Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback.
Prototype across fidelity levels to validate concepts with stakeholders.
Work with writers to ensure clear product copy.
Conduct competitive analyses to inform design decisions.
