You will translate title insurance and real estate concepts into actionable guidance that shapes product strategy and underwriting protocols. You'll provide subject matter expertise to product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers, translating complex domains into clear guidance to influence product evolution and risk management in a fast-moving tech-enabled

Qualifications

• Law degree required and bar admission where appropriate.
• Direct title insurance underwriting, title counsel, or real estate conveyancing experience (3+ years).
• Ability to apply underwriting judgment to technology, product, automation, or AI-enabled environments.
• Strong verbal and visual communication skills.
• Solid understanding of land titles, real estate law, and conveyancing processes.
• Familiarity with federal and state laws related to title insurance and settlement services.
• Some technical aptitude, e.g., basic knowledge of a software language.
• Business acumen and strategic agility to influence outcomes and secure resources.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, evaluates, communicates, and manages title insurance risk with a technology feature or product line.
• Executes underwriting vision and strategy for a technology feature or product.
• Participates in planning meetings and product strategy discussions.
• Assesses market competition and identifies gaps and threats.
• Provides underwriting, title insurance, and real estate expertise to product teams.
• Translates complex concepts into clear ideas for teams and underwriters.
• Executes tasks on the product roadmap and informs priorities.
