Job summary

IGT is seeking a qualified tester for manufacturing lines to ensure machines function correctly and comply with gaming standards. You will work with multiple products, verify functionality, and document discrepancies. You will troubleshoot defects and help maintain output rates while training new and existing staff.

The role requires strong teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required to meet production goals in Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
• Knowledge in communication, teamwork, mathematics, regulatory requirements, materials management and production processes.
• Use of small hand tools.
• Good attendance, able to stand full shift, lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to present information to individuals and management.

• Utilize and maintain tools and equipment including coins, tokens, currency and player tracking cards and verify information and document discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot problems by identify defects and execute appropriate fixes and maintain expected rate of output.
• Train and follow up on new and existing employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
• Must have basic knowledge of/skills in the content areas of communication and teamwork, intermediate mathematics, regulatory and jurisdictional requirements, materials management and production processes.
• The use of small hand tools is required.
• Must maintain a good attendance record and be able to stand a full shift and must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees, including management.
