Job summary

Sargent Manufacturing is seeking a Product Test Technician to join our Access & Egress Hardware Team in a hybrid onsite role serving New Haven and Berlin, CT. You will conduct test setups and monitor procedures for mechanical and electromechanical products, collecting precise data and generating detailed reports for interpretation.

You will troubleshoot fixtures, perform necessary repairs, and maintain organized lab records while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve methodologies

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical experience with ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Experience with test setups, data collection and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up tests for mechanical and electromechanical products and collect precise data.
• Generate detailed test reports and interpret results for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot fixtures, perform repairs and maintain testing conditions.
• Review test requests and maintain meticulous testing records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methods.
