Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an entry-level Test Technician to support automated testing of high-precision timing devices at our Mount Holly Springs facility. The role emphasizes a quality mindset, teamwork, and willingness to learn as part of a leading precision timing solutions maker.

The position offers on-the-job training, a standard M-F schedule with a 3:30pm-12am shift (10% differential), and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience is preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic PC skills and math skills required

Responsibilities

• Identify, read, and interpret process documentation for automated testing
• Interpret test data to determine pass/fail results
• Troubleshoot test failures and equipment issues to determine root cause
• Operate test equipment and automated test systems
• Perform basic soldering of surface-mount components
• Support other duties as assigned
