Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Mount Holly Springs, PA, seeks a Technician I-Product/Test (1st Shift) to support automated testing of precision timing devices. On-the-job training provided; you’ll read process docs, run tests, and help identify pass/fail results.

You will work in a team oriented environment with 7am-3:30pm schedule, gain hands-on electronics experience, solder SMT components, and contribute to process improvements while enjoying comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Quality and safety minded.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic PC, math, and product knowledge.
• Basic electronics knowledge

Responsibilities

• Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform automated testing.
• Interpret test data to determine pass/fail results.
• Troubleshoot test failures, equipment malfunctions, and product issues to determine root cause and support corrective actions.
• Operate test equipment (multimeter) and automated test systems.
• Basic soldering of surface mount components.
• Other duties as assigned
