Job summary

SureFire, LLC. is seeking a Product Test Engineer Support Technician in Fountain Valley, CA to help ensure the quality and reliability of manufactured products through rigorous testing and validation.

You will prepare test setups, execute procedures, record and analyze results, and collaborate with design and production teams to identify defects and drive improvements while maintaining test equipment and supporting efficient development cycles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electronic or mechanical product testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with data analysis software and test management tools a plus.
• Experience in CAD environments (SolidWorks) a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate test equipment and instrumentation according to engineering specifications and internal test procedures.
• Execute detailed test plans and procedures to evaluate product functionality, durability, and compliance.
• Record, analyze, and report test data accurately to support engineering assessments and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on test systems and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Assist in the development and refinement of test protocols and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on test processes and product performance.
