Job summary

Zetec, a global leader in nondestructive testing, is headquartered in Snoqualmie, WA. We seek an engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for test process development and execution for NDT equipment and automated delivery systems.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, performing hardware/software tests, and supporting design validation and prototyping. Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and lab testing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hardware, software, test, or other engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tasks supporting test activities to ensure quality and requirements compliance for Zetec hardware and software products.
• Develop and deploy Zetec hardware/software test processes and plans.
• Support the product development process from requirements through prototyping and validation tests.
• Set up lab environments and conduct basic to complex hardware/software tests.
• Act as technical expert for hardware/software testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Research and implement industry best practices for hardware/software testing.
• Collaborate across teams to improve Zetec capabilities and processes.
