Job summary

Patagonia is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its Product Technology team. This individual contributor role focuses on leading cross-functional programs that connect product creation with strategic goals, governance, and portfolio visibility.

You will guide large initiatives, establish scalable processes, and partner with design, materials, planning, marketing, and other groups to drive delivery while upholding Patagonia’s mission and leadership expectations.

Qualifications

8+ years of project and/or program design and management experience.
Experience leading cross-functional programs and executing integrated roadmaps and governance artifacts.
Experience developing and enforcing program standards, metrics, and reusable practices.
Proven ability to lead risk assessments, interdependencies, and mitigation plans.
Strong communication and change-management skills for leadership audiences.
Experience with Microsoft Office apps and PM software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, ClickUp, FigJam).
Experience using AI tools to improve decision support and workflows.
Hands-on working experience with Confluence and SharePoint.
Prior experience in a consumer product/retail brand environment preferred.
PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple high-impact programs and/or projects aligned to business goals and KPIs, developing integrated roadmaps and governance artifacts.
Drive program execution using established delivery frameworks with cross-team commitment and clear handoffs.
Facilitate and improve portfolio reviews to surface risks, dependencies, and status decisions.
Guide teams through change, ambiguity, and conflicts with mitigation plans.
Lead program and portfolio communications and performance reporting for stakeholders.
Establish scalable program management standards, playbooks, and retrospectives across teams.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align scope, priorities, and department KPIs.
Coordinate annual planning for team initiatives, including intake, scoping, prioritization, and business case development.
