The Opportunity

We’re currently partnered with a high-growth, venture-backed AI startup that is redefining how humans and machines communicate. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the most innovative teams working at the intersection of multi-modal AI, developer platforms, and human-like digital interaction.

Our client is building next-gen infrastructure for developers to create hyper-realistic, face-to-face experiences powered by generative AI. With backing from Tier 1 VCs (including a leading firm behind companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Dropbox), they’re scaling fast and looking to make a foundational Product Management hire to lead their developer platform strategy.

The Role

As the first Product Manager dedicated to the Developer Platform, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of the self-serve developer experience. This includes improving onboarding flows, API usability, documentation, conversion funnels, and community growth.

You’ll be directly responsible for growing developer adoption and engagement, and driving conversion from free users to paid Growth and Enterprise tiers. It's a high-impact, hands-on role designed for a technical product leader who thrives in early-stage, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Developer Experience: Lead improvements to onboarding, documentation, and the API developer portal, ensuring a frictionless experience from signup to integration.
• Growth Strategy: Design and execute experiments and product-led growth initiatives to increase acquisition, activation, and monetization of self-serve users.
• Platform Ownership: Own the roadmap and performance of the self-serve and API developer platform.
• Data-Driven Iteration: Use analytics, user research, and experimentation to validate ideas, prioritize features, and measure success.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to drive go-to-market strategy and align on growth goals.

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years in product management roles, ideally in fast-moving SaaS or platform businesses.
• Strong technical background (Computer Science degree or previous engineering experience).
• Proven experience building and scaling self-serve developer products (APIs, SDKs, developer portals, etc.).
• Comfortable writing or reviewing technical documentation and supporting engineering conversations.
• Analytical and metrics-focused – you make decisions based on data, not guesswork.
• Deep empathy for developers and a passion for building tools that make their lives easier.

Bonus Experience:

• Background in AI, generative media, or video-based platforms.
• Experience at a high-growth startup (Seed to Series B).
• Exposure to Developer Relations or Dev Advocacy.
