Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in sustaining, product, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience supporting products in production and resolving field/warranty issues.
• Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Familiarity working cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve field failures and production issues.
• Perform structured root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support quality containment activities and CAPA processes.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and service teams.
• Update drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Manage component obsolescence and qualify alternate parts.

Skills

Root cause analysis and problem-solving

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of ECN/ECR and change management

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs

Understanding of DFM and cost-reduction principles

Familiarity with quality systems and CAPA

CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)

Strong cross-functional communication

Education

BS in mechanical engineering or related field

Lean / Six Sigma certification
