We are seeking an experienced Product Support Specialist (Logistics) to provide advisory & assistance services (A&AS) supporting a major defense program, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems. The Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP) (SSC/SZ), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) (SSC/BC) provides highly classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems, Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets to meet current and projected DoD operational requirements. The position is based in El Segundo, CA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, deliver, and refine draft product support requirements documents.
2. Support cradle-to-grave development and sustainment.
3. Maintain the readiness and operational capability of weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
4. Assist in developing new technical order strategies aligned with changing Government acquisition strategies.
5. Coordinate logistics activities with stakeholders and maintain records and reports.
6. Apply principles and procedures of logistics support to complex assignments.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision, consulting with supervisors on unusual matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience establishing product support strategies aligned with acquisition strategies.
• Experience integrating system engineering characteristics with logistics and support elements.
• Proven experience integrating the 12 product support elements, procurement, and budgeting strategies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SSC and/or BC programs.
