Position Summary

Cheddar Up is seeking a part-time Product Support Specialist to join its growing Customer Support team. This team helps ensure excellent service is provided to Cheddar Up users primarily via emails, phone and live chat.

This role involves solving user requests and inquiries. This role involves learning from other product support specialists and team leads and learning and interacting with key support platforms to help solve user requests and inquiries. This role could expand into a full-time position if desired and if it’s a good fit.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to email requests and live chat inquiries from Cheddar Up users with the goal of delivering a “white glove”, delightful experience
  • Increase user retention by solving problems and offering solutions to user inquiries in a timely manner
  • Must be FRIENDLY…professional, user-first-oriented, and committed to creating long-term relationships with users
  • Maintain customer loyalty by communicating with users with empathy, integrity and accountability
  • Escalate issues that require a tier-two level of support to the appropriate team members
  • Organized, detail-oriented and capable of meeting daily goals and objectives
  • Strong written, grammar, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform well independently, multi-task, and liaise with other team members
  • Willingness to invest time to learn the Cheddar Up platforms to better serve and respond to user inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum one year related work experience preferred
  • Comfortable with computers, email platforms and other basic software tools (Microsoft office, Google applications, etc.)
  • Experience using Zendesk or other customer support platform a plus
  • Openness to use and learn new collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Salary Range: $27/hour
  • Part-time: Estimated 15-20 hours per week
