Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a Product Support Representative in Bealeton, VA. You will expand the company’s footprint by delivering product support, promoting all makes products, and driving service revenue through parts and repairs.

This role requires teamwork with Service, Parts, and Sales, plus strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and CRM upkeep. Travel within the territory and customer-focused problem solving are key components.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Skilled in developing inter-personal relationships.

• Mechanical aptitude in heavy equipment industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase Parts and Service Sales opportunities in the territory to grow revenue.
• Prepare and present Parts and Service quotations for customers.
• Conduct after-sales visits.
• Complete Komtrax and Warranty certificates and 90-day revisit.
• Gather customer information to build CRM database.
• Conduct 50-point machine visits and present findings to customers.
• Promote Parts and Service marketing programs for All Makes opportunities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with Service, Parts, and Sales.
• Maintain daily CRM call reports.
• Collaborate with mainline salesperson to support customers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by manager.

Job Summary:

Expand Linder’s presence in assigned territory, providing product support to customers, and increase product support revenue. Promote Linder’s “all makes” products and demonstrate by actions that the PSR and Linder are solutions providers.

Responsibilities:

• Increase Parts and Service Sales opportunities in assigned territory in order to grow revenue, including consumables and commodities, service repairs, and undercarriage


• Prepare and present Parts and Service quotations for customers


• Conduct after-sales visit


• Complete and present Komtrax and Warranty certificates, complete 90 -day revisit, discuss and sign up customers for electronic part ordering


• Acquire customer information to build comprehensive data base to include machine lists, customer contacts, influencers, and Parts and Service purchasers - all information to reside in CRM


• Conduct routine machine visits completing 50-point walk around inspection and present to customers


• Promote current Parts and Service marketing and sales programs to include New, Used , and All Makes opportunities


• Develop and maintain partnerships with internal customers (Service, Parts, and Sales)


• Maintain DAILY call reports on CRM


• Develop strong working relationship with mainline salesperson in assigned territory to form a strong supp ort team for customers


• Other tasks as requested by manager

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college, technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Skilled in developing inter-personal relationships


• General knowledge of maintenance, repair, parts department functions, sales, and customer needs


• Mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy equipment industry required


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
