Overview

The Product Support Engineer (PSE) will provide technical support for customers of ST Engineering Middle River Aerostructure Systems’ (MRAS) nacelle components, ensuring customer operational success and product safety of flight. The role offers an opportunity to develop technical writing, communication, and technical support skills while owning hardware for current and next‑generation products.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely technical support for repair, maintenance, and operation of hardware to customers, with guidance from senior PSE resources.
  • Comprehend and synthesize data from maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and specifications to respond to customer technical inquiries.
  • Monitor in‑service problems and product reliability to meet program reliability requirements.
  • Participate in teams addressing in‑service problems, continuous product improvement, and organizational initiatives.
  • Obtain hardware damage details from customers and collaborate with Repair Engineering to generate structural repairs for field damage cases.
  • Engage in Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for events on fielded hardware.
  • Collaborate with Technical Publications Team to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical publications.
  • Present technical data to internal and external stakeholders, including at reviews or conferences.
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects, consistent with engineering and aviation industry policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Availability to participate in a rotating on‑call PSE roster for after‑hours, weekend, and holiday technical support for customer aircraft‑on‑ground emergencies.
  • International and domestic travel (typically <5% of total work time) to support customer visits, technical conferences, and investigations.
  • U.S. Person status or authorized government status, as required for access to export‑controlled technology.

Estimate salary range for this role: $64,400 to $95,800 per year. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
