Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS seeks a Quality Assurance lead to support advanced aerospace manufacturing processes. This role ensures product compliance and supports customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with significant experience in Manufacturing and Quality, be able to travel occasionally, and possess U.S. Person status for sensitive technology access.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Manufacturing Quality.

At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as its materials and processing expertise.

What You Will Do
  • Within the Program Quality Team, for assigned activities, act as owner and POC for issue resolution for all Quality Assurance aspects of the program.
  • Support customer meetings and follow‑up actions.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional team reviews of rejections and issues to determine whether product is conforming with applicable specifications, including containment of suspect product.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and action plan closure to correct and prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and submit concession packages in accordance to program requirements.
  • Facilitate return processing and coordination of rework/repair efforts.
  • Identify and facilitate management system improvements to better support program requirements.
  • In coordination with the integrated program team, be responsive to customer inquiries within a very limited timeframe to ensure product is properly dispositioned and work continues to progress through successful delivery to the customer.
  • Eliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions.
  • Capture and analyze data to find trends. Use the data to drive decisions.
  • Effectively prepare communications and presentations to all levels of personnel from operators to senior leadership.
  • Participate/lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance on‑time, quality delivery of product.
What You Must Bring To Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing; minimum of 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Quality.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 5‑10% of time).
  • This position involves access to export‑controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization.
  • U.S. Person status includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization, and if hired, you will be required to provide valid proof of such status.

Job Compensation

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,600 to $93,000 per year. ST Engineering MRAS considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education, training and certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
