Job summary

DigiKey Electronics offers a Product Management and Supplier Development Intern role at our Thief River Falls, MN campus. You will work onsite in the Supplier Organization, supporting supplier engagement, portfolio optimization, and inventory strategy.

Qualifications

• The candidate is a current student or recent graduate in an applicable field and shows strong interest in hands-on learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to take initiative, work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrates a positive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Learn supplier relationship management and performance tracking.
• Analyze supplier data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities regarding product availability.
• Support communications and alignment with suppliers, including documentation updates and resource development.
• Gain exposure to contract terms, compliance, and inventory management impacting supplier performance.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance supplier programs and DigiKey's core goals.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects in the assigned department.
• Support team in regular duties and attend team meetings.
• Collaborate on projects and initiatives with team members.
• Conduct research and analysis as assigned.
• Maintain organized records of work and project files.
