Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory.
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA degree or graduate degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
  • 3 years of experience working with and influencing senior-level executives.
  • 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment.
  • Strong understanding of Google’s Ads products, sales teams, or service operations, as well as the relevant customer and competitive landscapes.
About The Job

Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to GBO. The team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business delivers strategic growth and operates effectively.

This team is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products. It involves representing the customer perspective, advocating for product requirements, and ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and revenue health at scale. The team also builds infrastructure from tooling to business skills, ensuring flawless execution and operations aligned with business outcomes. GTM teams are embedded across major Ads business areas and work globally, with team members being analytical and strategic, focused on execution.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent. Specific ranges for your preferred location will be shared during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
  • Define, optimize, and execute the go-to-market operating model and strategic initiatives for new and designated product areas, ensuring alignment across teams. Develop work plans, synthesize data, lead analyses, and contribute to strategic recommendations.
  • Structure analytical findings and develop compelling presentations and communications for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Support delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives critical to Google’s and product areas’ strategic success, often owning specific workstreams.
  • Analyze existing business and operational processes to identify issues and opportunities, then drive prioritization and implementation of improvements by influencing stakeholders.
