Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, seeks a Light Duty Product Specialist for the Walker/Grand Rapids area. You’ll collaborate across teams to support sales, marketing, reporting, and analysis, with experience in product management a big plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required.
• Product Manager certification is a huge plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of product management/support experience.
• Exposure to ERP and PLM systems.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data extraction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong self-motivational skills.
• Up to 30% travel with potential for international.
• Strong mechanical aptitude – qualification essential.
• Financial and sales analysis skills.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of product lines.
• Takes personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong internal and external customer relationships; matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and gather VOC to assist with Marketing specs for new products.
• Maintain competitive database with market size, share and SWOT.
• Assist with creation and execution of product launch marketing materials.
• Review and update marketing collateral to align with brand and strategy.
• Provide subject matter expertise and develop technical materials with Marketing Communications.
• Generate marketing reports and analyses.
• Provide quotes and samples to support marketing and sales.
• Support marketing requirements for sales and operations.
• Participate in product line continuous improvement activities.
• Possibly own a product/class, including strategy, pricing, and development.
• Provide insights and data to support product strategy and initiatives.
• P&L: develop understanding and assist with performance improvements.
