Job summary

Model ML Inc. is seeking a Product Specialist in New York to be the subject-matter expert for leveraged finance, acquisition finance, DCM and private credit teams in the US.

You’ll run demos, design use cases, check outputs, and grow usage inside each client firm. You will build templates for credit memos, lender presentations and debt schedules, turning client problems into scalable workflows while ensuring outputs are accurate.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years in leveraged finance, acquisition finance or DCM at a bank, or underwriting at a private credit fund.
• Has built LBO and debt models and written credit memos.
• Knows term sheets and covenants, plus the basics of credit ratings.
• Strong technical fluency: you can reason about workflows, data and failure modes.
• Clear communicator who closes loops.

Responsibilities

• Run demos and workshops for leveraged finance, DCM and private credit teams.
• Build and review templates: credit memos, lender presentations, debt comps (pricing, terms and covenants) and debt schedules.
• Turn client problems into scalable workflows, balancing client needs with platform constraints.
• Check AI outputs for accuracy before clients use them.
• Work with our banking specialists to extend Model ML from M&A and advisory teams into credit desks.
• Turn pilots into firm-wide rollouts with our Coverage and Sales teams.
• Track usage and adoption, and bring client feedback back to Product and Engineering.
