Job description

Baserow is a powerful, open-source no-code data platform that empowers business users to build databases, applications and custom workflows to streamline daily operations — without technical skills. We believe in democratizing software: making data management accessible, flexible, and scalable for teams of all sizes.

As part of our growth, we’re looking for a Baserow Product Specialist to help drive deep customer value, enable successful adoption, and shape Baserow’s product evolution based on customer use cases. Our team is constantly growing, so if you don’t get shortlisted, make sure you follow our page for future job postings. Due to the large number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

What you'll do:
  • Develop deep expertise in Baserow’s platform — its features, data modeling capabilities, APIs, integrations, and limitations — to become the go-to resource for both internal teams and customers.
  • Work closely with prospective existing customers to understand their business processes, challenges, and goals; translate those into concrete Baserow-based solutions.
  • Design and deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and production ready solutions to help customers get value quickly and effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices around data modeling, relational structure, data integrity, automation, app building and integrations.
  • Act as a bridge between prospects/ customers and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Support, Documentation) — capture feedback, report patterns/trends, and surface feature requests or usability issues.
  • Help craft and maintain documentation, tutorials, onboarding guides, and best-practice playbooks to support users at all levels.
  • Provide first line of support for existing customers with support contract.
  • Support and facilitate customer training sessions, workshops or webinars to promote product adoption and proper usage.
  • Collaborate internally to influence product roadmap, packaging, and positioning, based on real customer needs and use cases.
Who you are / What we're looking for:
  • You have 2+ years of hands-on experience using Baserow or other no-/low-code / relational-database platforms (e.g., Airtable, n8n, Make, Zapier or similar tools), and are comfortable designing data structures, tables, relations, applications and workflows/automations.
  • You have prior experience in consulting, customer-success, solutions-engineering, product-specialist or similar roles — ideally supporting SaaS / no-code platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills: you can translate a business use case into a technical concept / database model as well as translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for our clients; you can listen actively and ask the right questions to uncover underlying needs.
  • Strong project management, organization, and documentation skills: you can manage multiple customer engagements, follow up on action items, and deliver professional documentation and training materials.
  • Customer‑centric mindset: you care about helping users succeed, you take ownership of their success, and proactively seek to reduce friction, provide guidance, and enable best practices.
  • Ability to write detailed bug reports with reproducible steps for the product developers to resolve.
  • Self‑driven, curious, and collaborative: able to work across teams (sales, product, developers, documentation) and contribute insights from customer engagements to help shape Baserow’s future.
Bonus / Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with enterprise customers or complex workflows.
  • Being able to work with git / docker to set up a local instance is also useful for our self hosting clients.
  • Experience creating training content: webinars, walkthroughs, tutorials, documentation.
  • Fluency in additional languages (especially non‑English) — French or German
  • A chance to shape and influence a fast growing start‑up in the AI & no code space.
  • Opportunity to work closely with users — understand their needs, help them succeed, and directly influence product development.
  • A collaborative, mission‑driven team that values feedback, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and ownership: you will be trusted to drive customer success and product impact.
  • Remote only: you chose to work where you work and live. Preference is US or European timezone.
  • Professional growth: build deep expertise in AI & no‑code database solutions, customer‑facing product consulting, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • A competitive salary and stock options package.
How to Apply:
  • Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume outlining their relevant experience and skills through LinkedIn only. Please only apply if you meet the minimum requirements for this position.
