Job description

About the company

Biorce is a pioneering Healthtech company dedicated to revolutionizing drug development through the power of AI. We are passionate about accelerating medical advancements and improving patient outcomes.

Our team comprises seasoned clinical research professionals, data scientists, and AI experts, working collaboratively to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world clinical needs.

With an unwavering commitment to revolutionize healthcare, we envision a world where all patients benefit from accelerated and cost-effective access to treatments. Biorce is poised to redefine the landscape of healthcare, shaping a future where innovation and accessibility converge for the betterment of humanity.

About the role

At BIORCE, we're shapping the future of clinical trials, and that starts with understanding the humans behind the data.

Clinical trials are one of the slowest, most expensive steps between a scientific discovery and a treatment reaching a patient. We're changing that with AI and the products we build are used by the clinical research professionals, sponsors and study teams who carry that work forward every day.

As a Product Manager on our Austin team, you'll own several products across our portfolio. That means holding the vision and roadmap for each one, making the hard calls about where your time and your teams' capacity go, and keeping a coherent story across products that need to feel like one platform to the customer. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, designers, clinical experts and our commercial teams, spending real time with users and digging into the data behind how your features perform.

This is a broad, high-autonomy role. It suits someone who has already shipped meaningful product, wants more surface area rather than less, and is ready to set direction rather than execute someone else's.

Who We’re Looking For:

You're an experienced product manager who has owned real outcomes, not just backlogs. You've shipped products that customers depend on, and you've learned the difference between shipping features and moving metrics. You're comfortable holding several threads at once and ruthless about prioritization, because with a multi-product remit you have to be.

You're deeply analytical, happy to pull the data yourself rather than wait for someone to hand it to you and equally comfortable on a discovery call with a clinical user. You bring an outstanding academic record, a bias toward action, and the judgement to make decisions with incomplete information. You care about the humans on the other side of the screen, and you're drawn to a mission where getting the product right has real consequences for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the roadmap for multiple AI-powered products aimed at improving clinical trial operations. Keep each roadmap aligned with company goals, and make clear trade‑off decisions about sequencing and investment across your portfolio.
  • Manage a Multi‑Product Portfolio: Balance competing priorities across products, allocate your own focus and your teams' capacity deliberately, and ensure the products feel coherent and connected to the customer.
  • Lead Cross‑Functional Delivery: Drive alignment between Engineering, Design, Product and Clinical teams to deliver on time. Partner with Marketing and Sales so go‑to‑market materials and commercial efforts land with each product release.
  • Champion Customer Focus: Build the feedback loops that capture what customers are telling us, prioritise ruthlessly against them, and hold a high bar for usability and quality across every product you own.
  • Own Product Performance: Define the KPIs that matter for each product, monitor them, and act on what they tell you — iterating, doubling down, or cutting where the data says so.
  • Drive Market & Competitive Insight: Own competitive analysis and customer discovery, and turn interviews, surveys and market signals into positioning and roadmap decisions.
  • Write Clear Requirements: Turn ambiguous problems into well‑scoped specs, user stories and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can act on with confidence.
  • Adapt to Change: Thrive in a fast‑moving environment where priorities shift. Take initiative to remove blockers and drive things to completion, even when the path forward isn't perfectly clear.
Must-haves
  • 4+ years in Product Management, or in a technical, business analysis, or strategic function with clear end-to-end product ownership
  • A track record of shipping products that customers actually adopted — you can point to what you launched, the decisions you made, and the outcome it drove
  • Experience owning more than one product or workstream simultaneously, with the prioritisation discipline to decide what doesn't get built
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a habit of data-driven decision-making: you define the metric before the launch and you're comfortable getting to the numbers yourself
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, aligning engineering, design and commercial stakeholders without formal authority over them
  • Excellent written communication — you can turn an ambiguous problem into a spec that a team can build from without a follow-up meeting
  • Genuine customer curiosity: direct experience talking to users and translating what you heard into product decisions
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, in an environment where priorities shift and you're expected to unblock yourself
  • An outstanding academic record
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, working within our hybrid model
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience working in clinical research, life sciences, pharma, or a regulated healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with clinical trial operations, eClinical systems (EDC, CTMS, eTMF), or working with sponsors and CROs
  • Experience building AI/ML-powered products, and an understanding of what makes them different to scope, evaluate and ship
  • Hands‑on with product analytics tools and able to query data independently (e.g. SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
  • Track record of running user interviews, usability sessions, or structured customer discovery programmes
  • Experience taking a product from zero to one, or scaling one through a period of rapid growth
  • Exposure to enterprise or B2B SaaS, where the buyer and the end user aren't the same person
  • Understanding of regulated-environment requirements such as GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, or HIPAA
  • A technical or scientific background (engineering, computer science, or life sciences) that lets you go deep with your teams
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales and Marketing on positioning, pricing, or go‑to‑market
  • Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Linear, or equivalent
  • Additional languages — we're an international team
Why Join Us?

  • Hybrid work model offering flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing AI healthtech company.
  • Coffee, tea, beverages, and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the day.
