Job summary

Forbes Technical Consulting LLC in Chicago is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own delivery of clearing systems, regulatory reporting, and post-trade features for listed/cleared derivatives. You will partner with Risk on margin engines and settlement workflows, while maintaining data models for settlement and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in capital markets, specifically clearing/transaction processing systems.
• Strong grasp of the post-trade lifecycle for derivatives (futures, options, swaps, or prediction markets).
• Familiarity with FCMs and their integration with DCMs/DCOs.
• Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (CFTC, SEC, EMIR) and financial system auditing.
• Comfort querying/analyzing data independently (SQL, Python) to validate systems and write data-driven requirements.
• Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, distributed ledgers).
