Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in security evaluation/analysis or related development
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Information Management/Engineering or equivalent
• Experience using source code, dynamic, and dependency scanners (Veracode, Fortify, Sentinel, OWASP Dependency, NetSparker, Qualys)
• Competency with Linux, Windows, GCE, Bash, and Python; ability to learn new languages quickly
• Exceptional communication, high accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks
• Security certifications and experience in high-technology industry are assets

Responsibilities

• Perform security evaluations, tracing source code for vulnerabilities, and simulating cyber attacks
• Write scripts to increase scanning automation and integrate scanners with CI pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams, security operations, and stakeholders to implement secure practices
• Explain risk assessments to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to secure coding standards and secure architectures
• Conduct threat modeling and security testing; provide remediation recommendations
• Maintain and update security automation scripts and tools
