Geotab Inc. is a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, offering an open platform and Geotab Marketplace. We are seeking a Product Security Specialist to perform security reviews, code tracing, and vulnerability assessments across internal and external products.

You will collaborate with global teams to embed security by design and drive secure architectures throughout the product lifecycle. The role requires 5–8 years of security evaluation/analysis experience, a CS-related degree,

Qualifications

5–8 years of security evaluation/analysis or related development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or related field.
Experience using source code, dynamic, and dependency scanners such as Veracode, Fortify, Sentinel, OWASP Dependency, NetSparker, Qualys.
Proficiency with Linux, Windows, GCE, Bash, and Python; ability to learn new languages quickly.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform security evaluations, trace source code for vulnerabilities, and simulate attacks.
Write scripts to increase scanning automation and integrate scanners with CI pipelines.
Collaborate with development teams and security operations to implement secure design.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
Prepare assessment reports and risk communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop secure coding training and contribute to secure architectures.
