Job summary

Bracco Medical Technologies, a global R&D leader, seeks a Product Security Engineer/Architect to design and implement advanced security solutions ensuring Bracco products remain secure and resilient. You will collaborate with product development across units, review architectures, conduct threat modelling and security testing, and guide teams on mitigations and secure SDLC practices.

The role offers flexible location with options to work from offices worldwide or remotely, and involves

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in security administration or software engineering, or related.
• 2 years' experience in product security architecture, security testing, vulnerability management, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, SANS, MITRE ATT&CK, UL 2900.
• Experience implementing Secure SDLC frameworks.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and technical writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and software engineering teams for design reviews, threat modelling, penetration testing, code reviews, and remediation.
• Engage with product teams to review system architecture and research security capabilities.
• Support developers, system engineers, and hardware/firmware engineers on security practices and mitigations.
• Be part of PSIRT for vulnerability, CVE management and incident response on Bracco Medical Technologies products.
• Collaborate with R&D Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory and Service to reduce security risk.
• Develop security training and deliver it to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate new security tools and technologies and build internal tools as needed.
• Other duties to support evolving security needs.
