Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Product Security Engineer to drive security design and reviews across our products and services. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and validate secure solutions, acting as a trusted security advisor for architecture and feature enhancements.

You will work with the Security Architecture team to ensure secure releases, perform threat modeling, security testing, and cloud infrastructure assessments focusing on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 5+ years in security.
• Extensive security testing experience across web/native apps, distributed systems, and AWS.
• Solid understanding of software security architecture, design, threat modeling, secure code review, cryptography, and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security, including IAM and S3, and identifying design/configuration gaps.
• Knowledge of network, system, and application layer attacks and mitigations.
• Good development experience in Java (required).

Responsibilities

• Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation.
• Conduct threat modeling, architecture review, security code review, security assessments and testing.
• Perform cloud infrastructure reviews focusing on AWS IAM and S3 configurations.
• Review new Zoom features for security vulnerabilities and verify posture with manual/automated testing (Burp Suite, Coverity).
• Identify gaps in cloud security architecture and recommend enhancements (auth, authz, network segmentation, container config).
• Provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices to engineers.
