Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Product Security Engineer to lead security design and reviews across its products and services. You will collaborate with engineering to design, implement, and validate secure solutions, acting as a trusted security advisor on architecture and feature security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cyber Security, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or similar field), or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of security experience.
• Experience in security testing across web, native apps, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Strong understanding of security architecture, threat modeling, secure code review, cryptography, and SDLC best practices.
• Hands-on security experience with AWS and common AWS components; identify security gaps in design and configuration.
• Knowledge of network, system, and application-layer attack vectors and mitigations.
• Knowledge of OWASP, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, and cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation.
• Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, security code reviews, and security testing across platforms.
• Perform cloud infrastructure security reviews focusing on IAM and S3 configurations.
• Review new Zoom features for security vulnerabilities and verify security posture with tools like Burp Suite and Coverity.
• Identify gaps in cloud security architecture and propose changes (authentication, authorization, network segmentation).
• Provide hands-on security training and secure coding guidance to engineering teams.
