Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Product Security Engineer to lead security design and reviews across our cloud‑based products. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and validate secure solutions, serving as a trusted security advisor on architecture, feature reviews, and secure coding practices.

You’ll perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, security testing with Burp Suite and Coverity, and cloud reviews focused on AWS IAM and S3.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years of security experience.
Proven experience with security testing across web, native, distributed, and cloud environments.
Strong understanding of software security architecture, threat modeling, secure code review, cryptography, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

Guide engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design and implementation.
Conduct threat modeling, architecture review, security code review, security assessments, and security testing.
Perform cloud security reviews focusing on AWS IAM and S3 configurations.
Review new Zoom features for security vulnerabilities including OWASP Top Ten and NVD risks; verify posture with Burp Suite and Coverity.
Identify gaps in cloud security architecture and recommend secure improvements (auth, authorization, network segmentation, container configs).
Provide hands-on security training and secure coding best practices to engineering teams.
