Role Summary

HCLSoftware is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Enterprise Salesperson with a "hunter" mentality to aggressively pursue new business for HCL BigFix and HCL Intelligent Operations Suite in [insert region, e.g., TOLA region]. This role focuses on prospecting, acquiring new enterprise clients, and expanding market share in endpoint security and IT automation. The ideal candidate thrives on generating leads, closing deals, and building long-term client relationships in a competitive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Aggressively hunt for new business opportunities by identifying and targeting enterprise prospects in industries such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail.
  • New Client Acquisition: Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from cold outreach to closing, for HCL BigFix (endpoint management, patch automation, compliance) and HCL iControl (business flow observability).
  • Solution Positioning: Articulate the value proposition of HCL BigFix and iControl to C-level executives and IT/security leaders, addressing their pain points with tailored, AI-driven solutions.
  • Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, leveraging CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track progress and ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Market Penetration: Identify untapped market segments and verticals, creating strategies to introduce HCLSoftware solutions to new accounts.
  • Channel Collaboration: Partner with resellers, distributors, and HCL BigFix Technical Advisors to accelerate deal closures and enhance solution delivery.
  • Competitive Positioning: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors (e.g., SCCM, Tanium) to differentiate HCLSoftware’s offerings in the endpoint security and IT automation market.
  • Event Representation: Represent HCLSoftware at trade shows, webinars, and networking events to generate leads and build brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience in technology, with a proven track record as a "hunter" in software, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Hunting Expertise: Demonstrated success in prospecting, cold calling, and closing new business with large enterprises and mid-size organizations.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with endpoint management, cybersecurity, or IT automation solutions (e.g., HCL BigFix, ServiceNow, CrowdStrike) and ability to discuss security and compliance challenges.
  • Sales Results: History of consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas, with expertise in building and managing a high-volume sales pipeline.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or related field; certifications like CISSP or ITIL are a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience hunting in the cybersecurity or endpoint management market, targeting industries with strict compliance needs (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven automation or observability tools and their application in enterprise IT.
  • Proficiency in leveraging LinkedIn, industry events, and other prospecting tools for lead generation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
