Gentex is seeking a Product Safety and Security Design Engineer to develop PS&S controls for assigned products. You will deliver verified concepts, analyze requirements, and integrate PS&S controls into hardware and software designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Comprehension of vision hardware and software, as well as PS&S engineering methods and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver verified PS&S concepts and design specifications for assigned product(s).
• Analyze incoming PS&S requirements and resolve technical questions.
• Add PS&S controls as elements and functions to existing hardware and software designs.
• Derive PS&S design specifications from reviewed PS&S control designs.
• Document and verify all added PS&S requirements with other design & test engineers.
