Job summary

Gentex Corporation seeks a Product Compliance Manager to lead compliance activities across assigned product lines worldwide. You will interpret regulatory requirements, manage inspections and third-party certifications, and ensure audit-ready documentation.

You will collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory adherence. The role requires leadership of a team of inspectors or specialists, strong analytical skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of product compliance, regulatory, or related experience.
• Experience with global regulatory frameworks (UNECE, CCC, IMDS, AIS, VSTD, ISO, EU directives).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, or certification processes.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and continuous improvement of product compliance programs.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements for global markets.
• Oversee inspections, audits, and regulatory submissions with third parties.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and recordkeeping standards.
• Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer assessments.
• Manage and mentor compliance specialists and inspectors.
• Coordinate regulatory surveys and declarations for OEMs and agencies.
