Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Product Safety and Reliability Engineer for JLG products. The role focuses on safety investigations, reliability analysis, and collaboration with Engineering to support field and government matters.

You will document incidents, perform product checks, and prepare safety communications while traveling to sites and supporting litigation and compliance activities. This position offers exposure to a broad set of safety and reliability challenges across leader

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
Internship experience or 6+ months of related work experience.
Travel up to 50% is required.

Responsibilities

Assist and facilitate field accident and incident investigations.
Travel to document field investigations with on-site inspections.
Perform functional checks of JLG and Jerr-Dan products as part of investigations.
Assist in research and discovery for litigation matters and coordinate with Engineering.
Prepare Field Service Bulletins and service information for safety reviews.
Review new products for standards compliance and escalate as needed.
Represent the company in Government/Trade Association matters (OSHA, etc.).
Interact with customers regarding machine applications, safe use, and repairs.
