Job summary

PayPal Inc. is seeking a high-caliber attorney with experience in payments, financial services regulation, and technology to join the Product Legal team.

You will work with leaders across North, Central, and South America to provide regulatory guidance as PayPal develops and updates products and services for global markets. This role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, a JD, and bar admission, with a focus on product or regulatory counseling in Finance/FinTech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm focusing on product or regulatory counseling in Finance/FinTech.
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree; admitted to a state bar in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized legal advice to enable business strategy while identifying and managing legal risk.
• Advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations across global operations.
• Partner with business and product teams to identify legal risks and provide strategic guidance.
• Research new laws and regulatory guidance and assess their impact on PayPal’s products and services.
