Job summary

Apptronik is hiring a product quality manager for Apollo, its humanoid robot platform. The role documents build and system-test issues, drives corrective action across hardware, operations, and software, and defines product-quality plans as the company moves from prototypes toward production.

This is not a generic quality role. It sits close to product maturity for a humanoid robot that has to move from internal development into repeatable manufacturing and customer-facing reliability.

Qualifications

• Product quality experience on complex technical or electromechanical products.
• Ability to lead quality team members and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Strong critical thinking, ownership, and communication under ambiguity.
• Experience turning build and test findings into durable process improvements.
• Comfort working with hardware, software, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead product-quality processes across builds, system testing, and production readiness.
• Document issues, align stakeholders, and drive root-cause and corrective action.
• Build dashboards and visual tools that make top issues visible to leadership.
• Define quality plans for contract manufacturing and audit adherence.
• Coordinate quality work across hardware design, operations, software, and manufacturing.
