Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Product Manager to own the humanoid robot platform in the field, translating customer outcomes and field data into a strategic roadmap. You will balance engineering constraints with market needs to maximize platform value throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing a hardware product across its full lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life.
• Experience balancing performance, reliability, cost and schedule in hardware iterations.
• Strong analytical skills using field data or telemetry to drive product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the platform roadmap: scope, sequencing, and priorities across capability improvements, reliability, cost, and supportability.
• Manage the deployed fleet as a product: define and track operational metrics and drive priorities.
• Convert field data, service feedback, and deployment insights into clear requirements and communicate them to engineering teams.
• Lead trade studies balancing performance, reliability, cost, serviceability, and schedule; justify prioritization decisions.
• Own change management for a product in the field: prioritize engineering changes, retrofit and upgrade programs, and software/hardware update rollouts.
• Partner with supply chain and engineering on component lifecycle risks and make buy/second-source decisions.
• Drive cost-down initiatives by analyzing BOMs and service costs relative to total cost of ownership.
