Job summary

BigBadToyStore, Inc. is seeking a details-oriented inventory professional to join our onsite team in Wisconsin. You will analyze inventory, manage purchase orders, review invoices, and communicate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. This role requires precise data handling and a proactive approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Shift options include 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

BigBadToyStore is an online-based toy store, with a world-wide customer base, specializing in action figures, comic books, and other pop culture-related material.

We are looking for a highly skilled details person to join our team. Our experienced purchasing team is responsible for accurate and efficient inventory management, managing vendor relationships and maintaining accurate and compliant information. This position requires daily detailed analysis, invoice and report reviews and the ability to clearly communicate internally and externally.

This is an onsite hourly position Monday through Friday

We are looking to expand our team and will be hiring one person to work 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and another person to work 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Our team and our vendors expect timely and accurate communication; therefore, we need very specific and demanding qualifications, skill sets, personal temperament, and performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain or a related field, preferably in eCommerce or retail.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

• Inventory analysis and management, including monitoring sales trends.
• Price and reprice products to optimize inventory turnover.
• Collaborate internally to support the overall buying strategy.
• Develop and maintain positive vendor relations, confirming order fulfillment, addressing discrepancies, handling cancellations and monitoring fulfillment schedule.
• Place purchase orders via email, websites and vendor portals, monitoring vendor communication effectively.

Required Skills

• Skilled in analyzing sales data, inventory trends and ensuring accuracy on orders, invoices and in reporting.
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills; knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to resolve issues and manage change.
• Positive and upbeat attitude; fostering pride in being a part of BBTS!
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
