Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a hardworking team member to perform loading, unloading, and material handling at the plant, yard, or work site. Some Saturday work is required.

You will receive, store, and distribute products, pull and stack orders, maintain accurate records, and support safety and GMP compliance. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior warehouse or production experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute tasks to assist in the distribution of product.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information.
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Education
