Job summary

LVT is seeking a Product & Privacy Counsel to partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams in American Fork, Utah. This in-house role focuses on privacy regimes, AI regulatory compliance, and enterprise transactions to enable rapid, compliant growth.

The ideal candidate holds a J.D. with 4–6 years of relevant experience, Utah bar active or eligible for Utah in-house license. Remote work not indicated; in-office role at headquarters in Utah.

Qualifications

• Privacy frameworks knowledge (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR).
• Strong experience negotiating technology agreements.
• Autonomous self-starter in fast-paced environments.
• Business-minded counsel with pragmatic risk assessment.
• Excellent communicator to non-legal stakeholders.
• In-house experience in a high-growth tech environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive privacy and data-protection guidance to Product and Engineering teams.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs, MSAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements.
• Monitor and translate privacy and AI regulations into actionable strategies.
• Review customer privacy questionnaires, security reviews, and due diligence inquiries.
• Support governance of privacy infrastructure and policy updates.
• Design scalable legal templates and playbooks to accelerate deals.
• Leverage AI tools to improve contract review and drafting workflows.
