Job summary

Nintendo of America in Redmond, WA is offering a 10-week summer internship in Product Public Relations. You will contribute to high-profile campaigns, assist in creating press materials, and collaborate with the PR team to tell compelling stories about Nintendo’s brands and games.

The program runs June 14 through August 20, requires a 3.0+ GPA, enrollment in Public Relations or Communications, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3.0+ GPA.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation conferral date between May 2027 and June 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Public Relations or Communications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Nintendo’s Product Public Relations team in driving positive coverage for Nintendo and its products.
• Gain experience learning how the Product PR team handles high profile news stories, industry events and cross-platform marketing campaigns for games.
• Assist in the creation of press materials, participate in team brainstorming sessions offering creative input on campaign tactics, and provide logistical event coordination support, as needed.
• Conduct research on topics such as trends in media culture and identifying opportunities for further media storytelling.
• Collaborate with the broader Communications team and agency partners to learn how PR is integrated with influencer, celebrity, and social media marketing for Nintendo products.
